Dr Seigals “COOKIE DIET”
The Beginning of The Cookie Diet
The cookie diet is one of the most talked about diets on the market. Before you decide whether you like or dislike the cookie diet, it is important to find out how the cookie diet was conceived.
Dr. Sanford Siegal is the creator of the famed cookie diet. He began as a medical practitioner in 1957 dealing with patients that needed help in many ways. The Happiness of The Cookie Diet
When someone says “The Cookie Diet” I bet a lot of people sit up and listen. The cookie diet was originally invented by Dr. Sanford Siegal and the entire concept makes losing weight sound absolutely delicious! It is a weight loss program that he swears lets his patients drop an average of 15 pounds a month. Not many weight loss programs can claim that. It almost sounds too good to be true, but the people who have tried the cookie diet say it works, and works well.
The cookie diet consists of a carefully put together cookie recipe which, when you eat it, holds back your hunger and your cravings by actually making you feel full. It is paired with a very specific menu for dinner that is said to give you the proteins and nutrition you need without having you eat too much. You eat only the dinner meal which consists of 6 ounces of protein such as chicken, turkey, fish or seafood. These lean meat choices are key to making the cookie diet work for you. READ MORE

In fact, many scoffed at the daily requirements of 800 calories, which include the cookies and the dinner. They said that it not only couldn’t be done, but the 800 calories was simply too low and that it lacked the nutritional value that everybody needs. READ MORE

Over time, he took what he knew about exercise, diets, and medications that suppressed the appetites, along with the effects of high fibre diets, and wrote a book about his findings. His patients were losing weight, and they were happy about it, but he still wanted more. READ MORE
